Following the installation of our first charging station in 2019 PPC has migrated its entire fleet (previously 20 diesel vehicles) to 17 fully electric and five hybrid vehicles, including shareable ‘Dienstwagen’<\/em>. The company car park now boasts charging points for up to eight cars simultaneously, which can also be used by guests.<\/p>\n<\/div>

As well as contributing to our sustainability goals as a company, this action is in accordance with government strategy. With the goal of establishing 15 million electric vehicles in Germany by 2030, the path of e-mobility is clearly mapped out by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BWMK)<\/a> to achieve self-sufficiency in the transport sector and advance national climate targets.<\/p>\n

This step underlines our commitment to an environmentally conscious future as well as reflecting our rapid employee growth in recent years. And of course, it is easier to understand challenges and develop new ideas if you experience them yourself on a daily basis. Our Innovation department has gained new insights into e-mobility with projects such as “SMGW Forwards<\/a>” or “Bidirectional Charging<\/a>“.<\/p>\n<\/div>
