The network management system (NMS) from Power Plus Communications has reached a new milestone: over 1.2 million smart meter gateways (SMGWs) have now been successfully integrated into our network management system \u2013 and the trend is rising! The NMS provides centralised, highly secure fault management and ensures the reliable operation of the communication infrastructure in the smart metering system. It monitors and manages the network connections of the gateways in real time, thus laying the foundation for an efficient, stable and comprehensively controllable energy world. Communication between the NMS and the smart meter gateways is carried out in accordance with DIN VDE V 0418-63-12. NMS users can access this information in a portal with just a few clicks.
